Bulls' Dwyane Wade: Takes part in Wednesday's scrimmage

Wade (elbow) took part in Wednesday's team scrimmage, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Wade joined the team for a workout during Tuesday's morning shootaround and has now been able to log a full scrimmage with the team Wednesday, so he continues to progress much quicker than anticipated in his recovery. The Bulls are now holding out hope that Wade will be able to return prior to the end of the regular season and with the team still fighting for one of the final playoff spots in the East, we could see Wade try and return sooner than expected. Coach Fred Hoiberg ruled Wade out of Thursday's game against the 76ers, but didn't do so regarding his availability for Saturday vs. the Nets, so look for Wade's status to be updated again later this week depending on how his elbow feels after an increase in activity.
