Spurs' Manu Ginobili: Leaves Tuesday's game with bruised quad

Ginobili suffered a right quad contusion during Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies and won't return.

Analysis:

Considering it's being listed as a bruise, it doesn't sound like anything particularly serious, but Ginobili will likely have additional tests performed after the game. The Spurs take on the Lakers in the second game of a back-to-back set on Wednesday, so it wouldn't be surprising if Ginobili was ultimately held out of that contest. Kyle Anderson and Jonathon Simmons should pick up a few extra minutes in the meantime.
