Analysis:

Carter sat out Sunday's game against the Lakers for rest and while he normally comes off the bench, he'll jump back into the starting five Tuesday with Tony Allen (eye) sitting out. In 10 previous starts this season, Carter has averaged 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 30.5 minutes, so despite the promotion, only a mild boost in production should be expected.
