Knicks' Carmelo Anthony: Will play Tuesday vs. Bulls

Anthony (back) has officially been cleared to play in Tuesday's matchup with the Bulls, Al Iannazzone of Newsday Sports reports.

Analysis:

Anthony has missed the last few games with a back injury, but after testing the injury during pregame warmups, he's officially been given the green light to play. With Kristaps Porzingis (back) being unexpectedly ruled out, Anthony could see an increase in usage and could see time at both forward spots to make up for a lack of healthy bodies in the frontcourt. Justin Holiday and MIndaugas Kuzminskas could see a decreased role moving forward with Anthony now available.
