Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki: Will not play vs. Kings

Nowitzki (Achilles) will not play Tuesday against the Kings, Earl Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Nowitzki played 26 minutes in Sunday's win over Milwaukee, but he's once again having trouble with his Achilles and will be held out Tuesday, likely on a precautionary basis. In his absence, expect Dwight Powell and Nerlens Noel to pick up increased minutes.
