Knicks' Derrick Rose: Out Sunday vs. Celtics

Rose (knee) will remain sidelined for Sunday's game with the Celtics, Stefan Bondy of New York Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Rose will be missing a third straight game, and he could be in line for additional absences considering the Knicks have already been eliminated from playoff contention and likely aren't in a hurry to bring back the veteran point guard, who is set to become a free agent this offseason. Ron Baker drew the start in Rose's place the last two games and should do so again Sunday, which will afford him 30-plus minutes. In seven starts this season, Baker has averaged 4.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists across 24.7 minutes, so he still likely won't be a great DFS option Sunday.
