Kings' Ty Lawson: Double-doubles in Saturday's win

Lawson recorded 21 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 11-14 FT), 11 assists, two rebounds and one steal across 25 minutes during a 123-117 win over the Timberwolves on Saturday.

Analysis:

Lawson turned in possibly his best performance of the season as he paired the scoring and distributing together to gather his first double-double of the season. He also got to the free throw line a season-high 14 times. He vastly outplayed starting point guard Darren Collison, who scored just seven points across 26 minutes. Lawson has scored in double figures in his last four games played. He may be given some more rest as the regular season comes to a close.
