Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis: Efficient from floor in Friday's win

Porzingis finished with 22 points (10-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot across 36 minutes in Friday's 98-94 win over the Heat.

Analysis:

Porzingis stepped up with Carmelo Anthony (back), Derrick Rose (knee) and Lance Thomas (hip) on the shelf. He wrapped up the month of March with 18.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in 16 outings. The scoring average was his best since December when he was slightly better at 18.5 PPG. He is one of the primary options on offense even when the team is fully healthy, and he will be a centerpiece for the franchise going into 2017-18 and beyond.
