Nuggets' Wilson Chandler: Moving to bench Friday

Chandler will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Celtics, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.

Analysis:

Chandler will cede his starting power forward position to Kenneth Faried, but should still play a significant role off Denver's bench. In four games since returning from a groin problem, Chandler has scored at least 17 points three times, shooting nearly 53 percent from the field along the way. While his reserve role makes him unlikely to reach the 34.3 minutes he's averaged over that span, his strong play of late should keep him firmly in the mix despite the demotion.
