Pistons' Andre Drummond: Attempts just one field goal Thursday

Drummond was limited to two points (0-1 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks across 29 minutes in a 90-89 win over the Nets on Thursday.

Analysis:

It's only the third time all season that Drummond made more free-throw attempts that shots from the field, and while the one shot is an abnormally low total given how many minutes he received, it's a reflection of his downsized role in the Pistons attack these days. Drummond has hit double figures in the scoring column in just seven of his last 10 games while the Pistons have slid down the Eastern Conference standings, calling into question whether he's truly the franchise center the team envisioned when they inked him to a five-year, $127.7 million contract last summer.
