Pacers' Thaddeus Young: Records double-double in loss
Young posted 16 points (8-12 FG), 13 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes in Wednesday's 110-97 loss to the Grizzlies.
Analysis:
It's been a rough road for Young since he returned from injury after the All-Star break, as he simply hasn't looked like his old self. Wednesday's double-double was his first since late December and it was also his highest rebound total of the year, so there's some hope that he's finally turned the corner. Though Young has seen his output dip since joining the Pacers this year, he's still provided decent output, as he's the third-leading rebounder on the team despite missing almost a month. Although there's cause to be cautious about plugging Young into your lineups, Wednesday's outing proves there is plenty of gas in the tank for a surprise surge in the final weeks of the season.
