Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis: Leads team with 20 in loss

Porzingis scored 20 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-10 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, two assists and three blocked shots over 36 minutes in Wednesday's 105-88 loss to the Heat.

Analysis:

On a night where Derrick Rose (knee) was a scratch, offensive production shifted to the frontcourt, where Porzingis continued his consistent output at the 4, falling two rebounds short of a double-double. He's posting his best monthly scoring average since December, averaging 18.1 points per game along with 8.1 rebounds across 15 contests in March. Although the season is a lost cause for the Knicks, they currently have Porzingis under contract for next season and should be a critical piece of the puzzle as the Knicks once again try to rebuild.
