Mavericks' Salah Mejri: Inactive Wednesday vs. Pelicans

Mejri will not play in Wednesday's game against the Pelicans with a sore knee, Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

When exactly Mejri began suffering from the knee troubles is currently unknown, but with head coach Rick Carlisle saying he could return as soon as Friday likely means it isn't anything serious. Regardless, Mejri has seen very few minutes with the emergence of Nerlens Noel as the team's starting center, so his absence won't have much of an impact on the team's rotation.
