76ers' Jerryd Bayless: Staying fit during recovery from wrist surgery

Bayless (wrist) has been traveling with the 76ers on road trips and is doing some light shooting and cardio work to stay conditioned, CSN Philadelphia's Jessica Camerato reports.

Analysis:

It sounds like Bayless is well on his way to being back to full strength by the time training camp rolls around, but the 76ers closed the door on a potential return to the court this season long ago. The veteran point guard recently had his cast removed from his surgically repaired left wrist, and said he expects to be back to 100 percent in about a month. Bayless will enter the second year of his three-year pact with the 76ers next season and will likely serve as the main backup to Ben Simmons, while also sharing the court with the No. 1 overall pick in an off-the-ball capacity.
