Pistons' Reggie Jackson: Ruled out Tuesday

Jackson (knee) will not play Tuesday against the Heat, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Analysis:

Jackson will miss a second consecutive game with tendinitis in his right knee, and the point guard being shut down for the rest of the season remains in play. For now, though, the Pistons will continue to handle him on a game-to-game basis, and will go forth with Ish Smith playing big minutes as the newly minted starter. Expect Beno Udrih to serve as the backup, but he's unlikely to see enough of a role to warrant fantasy value.
