Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins: Ruled out Monday vs. Jazz
Cousins (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz.
Analysis:
Cousins already missed Sunday's game against the Nuggets with the sprained right ankle, so Monday marks a second consecutive absence for the All-Star big man. While it doesn't sound like something that should keep Cousins out for too much longer, his practice availability over the next few days should give us a better indication if he'll be cleared to return for Wednesday's matchup against the Mavericks. Dante Cunningham will start a second straight game at power forward in his place after logging six points, eight rebounds and two blocks across 29 minutes on Sunday.
