Pistons' Reggie Jackson: Out for rest Monday

Jackson will sit out Monday's game against the Knicks for rest purposes, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.

Analysis:

Jackson has been benched in favor of Ish Smith in the last few games, with his fantasy value slowly dropping as a result of the demotion. He'll get the front end of the back-to-back set off for rest, but it's expected that he'll share the minutes at point guard with Smith in Tuesday's tilt with the Heat. Jackson's absence Monday means that Smith should be a good bet to clear the 30-minute mark, with Beno Udrih acting as a lightly-used backup at point guard.
