Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Ruled out Monday vs. Spurs

Korver has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs after he experienced renewed inflammation in his left foot, Maria Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Korver missed seven straight games earlier in March due to a tendon issue in the foot, and after returning to play in three games in four days, it looks like the sharpshooter experienced a setback. With Iman Shumpert (knee) listed as questionable for Monday, the Cavaliers could be light on wing depth, meaning J.R. Smith could be pressed into heavy minutes in the event Shumpert is ruled out. Korver is hopeful that the injury won't keep him sidelined for the remainder of the regular season, but he'll require a few days off before the Cavs' reassess his condition prior to Thursday's game against the Bulls.
