Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins: Questionable for Monday vs. Utah

Cousins (ankle) is listed as questionable to play Monday against the Jazz, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Cousins' sprained right ankle prevented him from playing Sunday against the Nuggets, but the Pelicans still won handily without him, as frontcourt mate Anthony Davis came through with 31 points and 15 rebounds in 28 minutes. With the Pelicans entering the second half of the back-to-back set, the team won't hold a morning shootaround Monday, so Cousins' status for the game won't be known until closer to the 10:30 p.m. ET tip off. Dante Cunningham, who logged six points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 29 minutes Sunday, would be in store for another start at power forward if Cousins is sidelined.
