Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins: Out Sunday vs. Nuggets

Cousins (ankle) will be sidelined for Sunday's game against the Nuggets, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

After tweaking his right ankle during Friday's loss to the Rockets, Cousins was unable to take part in the team's morning shootaround Sunday, which ultimately prompted the Pelicans to hold the star big man out for the front end of the back-to-back set. With Cousins out, Dante Cunningham will likely enter the starting five in his stead. Along with Cunningham, starting small forward Solomon Hill should benefit from additional run, with Hill representing the more appealing low-cost DFS play of the two.
