Kings' Tyreke Evans: Will start at small forward Sunday

Evans will start at small forward in Sunday's game against the Clippers, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

The Kings are resting Arron Afflalo for the front end of the back-to-back set, so it will open up a spot on the top unit for Evans, who sat out Sacramento's previous game Friday against the Warriors for rest purposes. Evans will still likely be capped at around 28 minutes on the recommendation of team doctors following his offseason knee surgery, but he's still been one of the team's more productive offensive players since he was acquired at the trade deadline. Over his nine appearances with the Kings, Evans has averaged 14.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 three-pointers in 22.4 minutes per game.
