Rockets' Ryan Anderson: Out Sunday, unlikely for Tuesday

Coach Mike D'Antoni said Anderson (ankle), who has been ruled out Sunday against the Thunder, will also "probably" sit out Tuesday against the Warriors, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Anderson sprained his right ankle in Friday's win over the Pelicans and is being viewed as day-to-day until team doctors have a chance to formally evaluate him Sunday. That being said, it doesn't look like Anderson will represent a great fantasy option heading into the Rockets' four-game week, as he had been struggling from the field even prior to suffering the injury. The Rockets are expected to start either Eric Gordon or Sam Dekker in Anderson's place Sunday, but both should benefit from an uptick in minutes and usage.
