Cavaliers' LeBron James: Dealing with eye injury

James suffered a scratched cornea in Friday's win over the Hornets, Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

James noticeably could not keep his eye open during a postgame interview session, and noted his vision was blurry. The injury occurred after getting poked in the eye during a drive to the basket late in the third quarter. The veteran forward was able to return to the game, but his status for Saturday's tilt versus the Wizards appears up in the air. James indicated that if he sits out it will not be due to rest, but rather because he is "banged up." Look for Richard Jefferson and Iman Shumpert to see increased roles covering the small forward responsibilities should James ultimately sit out Saturday.
