Warriors' Stephen Curry: Gets pass-happy in Friday's win
Curry scored a team-high 27 points (9-18 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT) along with seven rebounds, a season-high 12 assists and six steals over 33 minutes in Friday's 114-100 win over the Kings.
Analysis:
Passing got contagious for Curry and the rest of the Warriors who assisted on 20 of the team's first 22 field goals and registered 21 in the first half -- NBA teams are averaging 22.5 assists per four quarters this season. When the Warriors get into a passing groove like that, a team like the free-falling Kings have no chance. With the Warriors having won five straight in blowout fashion, coach Steve Kerr has been able to give Curry some in-game downtime ahead of an upcoming schedule crunch next week that includes Memphis (Sunday), at Houston (Tuesday), at San Antonio (Wednesday) and Houston (Friday).
