Knicks' Joakim Noah: Reportedly set for 20-game drug suspension

Noah will receive a 20-game suspension for violating the NBA's anti-drug policy, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Noah tested positive for a prohibited over-the-counter supplement, according to the report. He'll miss the Knicks' final 10 games this season and 10 games to begin the 2017-18 campaign. Noah had been sidelined since having surgery on his left knee on Feb. 27, and although the Knicks hadn't ruled him out for the rest of the season, the suspension will effectively result in him being shut down. With averages of 5.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 22.1 minutes per game in his first season with the Knicks, Noah was a major disappointment after signing a long-term deal with the team last summer and will likely go undrafted in the majority of fantasy leagues heading into 2017-18.
