Wizards' John Wall: Expected to play Friday vs. Nets

Coach Scott Brooks said he expects Wall (migraine) to play Friday against the Nets, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

The Wizards allowed Wall to sit out their morning shootaround while he complained of a headache, prompting the team to label him as questionable heading into the evening. While his official designation remains unchanged, Brooks' comments suggest that the point guard has made improvement over the afternoon, so assuming he incurs no setbacks during pregame warmups, Wall should start as he usually does. Expect Brooks to be judicious with Wall's minutes, however; the Wizards are entering the front end of the back-to-back set and would probably prefer to reserve a larger workload for their franchise cornerstone in Saturday's game against the conference-leading Cavaliers rather than the league-worst Nets.
