Mavericks' Harrison Barnes: Provides scoring and defense Thursday

Barnes collected 21 points (9-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two steals across 38 minutes during Thursday's 97-95 victory over the Clippers.

Analysis:

Barnes bounced back Thursday from a quick three-game slump where he averaged 9.3 points on 37.5 percent shooting. Despite the occasional short slump, Barnes has still shown to be one of the better scoring forwards in fantasy, averaging 19.6 points per game (47.0 percent shooting from the field and 34.5 percent from deep), 5.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 steals across 35.7 minutes per game. He's also dramatically improved his free-throw shooting, knocking down 85.3 percent of his attempts this year compared to 76.1 percent last season. He should continue to be owned in nearly all fantasy formats.
