Magic's Aaron Gordon: Questionable Friday with sore hip

Gordon is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons due to a sore left hip, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

After averaging 15.9 points in his previous 10 games prior to Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Gordon was held to seven points on 3-of-8 shooting in 29 minutes during the loss. The injury may have played a part in Gordon's poor performance, and while it doesn't seem to be a major concern, it could potentially shelve him Friday. Expect the Magic to provide a follow up on Gordon's status shortly before the 7:00 p.m. ET tip off, but if he can't go, the team could be forced to rely more on Mario Hezonja and Damjan Rudez at power forward. Gordon's top backup, Jeff Green (back), is also listed as questionable Friday.
