Spurs' Patty Mills: Gets hot off bench Thursday

Mills went for 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, one steal and one block over 23 minutes in Thursday's 97-90 win over the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

The veteran sharpshooter stepped up for his fifth double-digit scoring effort over the last seven games and has now hit or eclipsed the 60 percent mark from the field in the last two contests. Mills' playing time remains consistent and he's also good for the occasional start whenever Tony Parker is sidelined or given the night off. As such, he remains a very viable add at his stage of the season for owners needing help in the areas of scoring, shooting percentage and three-pointers, while he also remains capable of offering solid production in the assists category. Mills is now averaging 10.4 points, 4.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds across 25.8 minutes in 13 March games.
