Spurs' Kawhi Leonard: Solid stat line in Thursday win

Leonard totaled 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 38 minutes in Thursday's 97-90 victory over the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

Leonard was a highly effective complementary presence to LaMarcus Aldridge on the night, even as his struggles from three-point range persisted. Factoring in Thursday's 20 percent success rate from long range, the All-Star forward has shot 12.5 percent (2-for-16) from behind the arc over the last three games. That said, Leonard naturally continues to be one of the steadiest and most well-rounded producers in the league and has averaged at least 26.4 points in each of the last three months. Furthermore, his March figure of 6.3 rebounds represents his second-best monthly tally in that category this season, while his 4.0 assists this month are a high-water mark on the campaign.
