Grizzlies' Zach Randolph: Co-leads bench in scoring Thursday

Randolph compiled eight points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes in Thursday's 97-90 loss to the Spurs.

Analysis:

The veteran co-led the second unit in scoring along with Andrew Harrison while playing more minutes than anyone on the bench. It was notably Randolph's first game in the last six with single-digit shot attempts, but he remains a valuable asset in all formats for his ability to provide above-average production in scoring and rebounds despite not having a starting role. The 16-year-pro is now averaging 11.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 22.6 minutes in 11 March contests.
