Hornets' Marco Belinelli: Efficient in win vs. Magic

Belinelli scored 20 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT) with three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes in a 109-102 win over the Magic on Wednesday.

Analysis:

Belinelli's 20 points led all bench scorers in the game, and it was his highest scoring night dating all the way back to a 22 point game on Nov. 19. An inordinate number of free throws allowed the Italian guard to rack up points quickly and efficiently-- his eight attempts were his most of the season. Belinelli is a decent NBA bench player as he consistently gets over 20 minutes of run, but he has done little to prove his fantasy value in even deeper leagues over the course of the season. It's probably safest to consider this game an outlier and move along.
