Grizzlies' Tony Allen: Questionable for Thursday

Allen (knee) received treatment during Wednesday's practice and is expected to be listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Spurs, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.

Analysis:

Allen was held out Tuesday against the Pelicans because of a sore left knee, and he's apparently still dealing with some discomfort. That said, with an MVP candidate in Kawhi Leonard on the docket, the Grizzlies would definitely benefit if the defensive-minded Allen was available, so he'll likely do everything he can to suit up Thursday. The Grizzlies will reevaluate Allen at their morning shootaround Thursday before potentially updating his status for the game later that evening.
