Hand injury won't stop Whiteside from playing basketball ... or NBA 2K

It'll take more than a baker's dozen stitches to keep Hassan Whiteside away from doing what he loves.

The Miami Heat center suffered a cut on his right hand in Tuesday's 112-97 win over the Phoenix Suns, which required 13 stitches.

Despite the knock, the reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Week has every intention of suiting up (he's listed as probable) in the team's next contest Thursday against the Toronto Raptors ... and playing his favorite video game.

"I got 13 stitches in my hand," the 27-year-old said on Snapchat late Tuesday as he struggled to hold a controller with his wrapped hand. He was playing NBA 2K17 as James Harden.
