Mavericks' Nerlens Noel: Produces in limited playing time Tuesday

Noel produced 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and one block in just 17 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 112-87 loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Noel saw limited minutes as the visitors took a big lead relatively early but still managed to finish second on the team in scoring and rebounding. The Mavericks are seemingly taking it easy on their new acquisition through his first four contests since returning from a three-game absence due to knee soreness, as he is averaging just 20 minutes per night during that stretch. That said, he has shown no signs of the injury in the opportunities he has gotten, so an uptick in usage should follow shortly.
