Raptors' DeMar DeRozan: Explodes for game-high 42 in Tuesday's OT win

DeRozan scored 42 points (17-38 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-11 FT) while adding eight assists, seven rebounds, a steal and a block in 43 minutes during Tuesday's 122-120 overtime win over the Bulls.

Analysis:

He tied his career high by scoring 20 or more points for the 54th time this season. DeRozan's production has been mostly hindered, not helped, by the loss of Kyle Lowry (wrist) as he fights through extra defensive attention, but at least for one night he would not be denied, leading the Raptors to overcome a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit and then sinking the jumper that gave the team their first lead of the game with 1:23 left in OT. He'll get a day to rest before Toronto heads to Miami on Thursday for another contest with heavy playoff implications.
