Lin (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

Analysis:

Lin sprained his right ankle in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Mavericks, and with the Nets having little to play for at this stage of the season, it seems likely that they'll hold the point guard out Tuesday to aid his recovery. An official update on Lin's status should come following morning shootaround, but if he's ruled out, Spencer Dinwiddie, who tallied 18 points and seven assists in 30 minutes Sunday, would likely enter the starting lineup.
