Nicolas Batum is back playing basketball after experiencing one of the scariest weeks of his entire life.

The Hornets shooting guard was experiencing migraines so excruciating that he couldn't get out of bed for four days, forcing him to undergo a brain scan to determine the severity of his symptoms.

"I was scared, worried," Batum told David Scott of The Charlotte Observer. "I couldn't think. I couldn't eat or drink anything. It took me out of everything. ...

"I couldn't move."

While the scan came back negative, Batum was still forced to miss two games from the pain before making his return to the lineup on Saturday.

The 6-foot-8 shooting guard was solid in his return, finishing with eight points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in the Hornets' 98-93 victory over the Washington Wizards.
