Hawks' Tim Hardaway: Will start with Bazemore out

Hardaway will reenter the starting lineup at shooting guard Monday against the Hornets, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Coach Mike Budenholzer has previously used Hardaway on the top unit when Thabo Sefolosha and Kent Bazemore have missed time in the past, and with Bazemore diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right knee that will keep him out for at least a week, Hardaway should enjoy a multi-game run as a starter. Hardaway had already been averaging 19.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.4 three-pointers and 1.3 steals in 29.7 minutes per game in March, but his production could hit another level if more minutes and shot attempts come his way while Bazemore is out.
