Clippers' Chris Paul: Ice cold from field Saturday
Paul provided five points (0-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven assists and four rebounds across 27 minutes during Saturday's 108-78 victory over the Cavaliers.
Analysis:
With Kyrie Irving (rest/knee), LeBron James (rest) and Kevin Love (rest) all out for the Cavaliers, fantasy owners likely expected Paul to have a monster game, even if he played a sub-30-minute workload. Instead, Paul had one of his worst games of the season -- failing to knock down a field goal attempt, committing three turnovers with his seven assists, and failing to record a steal. That being said, Saturday's outing can likely be brushed off as an outlier considering Paul is averaging 19.0 points, 7.6 assists, and 1.4 steals across 32.2 minutes per game since the beginning of March.
