Draymond: Russell's behavior in Lakers-Bucks scuffle 'pissed me off'

Draymond Green did not approve of D'Angelo Russell's behavior in the skirmish that broke out between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

Green, of course, plays for neither team, and had nothing to do with the mini-melee that saw Russell, Nick Young, and Greg Monroe get tossed. But Green notoriously has an opinion about everything, and he was no fan of the way Russell inserted himself into the proceedings by shoving Monroe in the back before immediately backpedaling several steps.

"To me it looked like he didn't want no parts of it," Green told reporters Saturday, according to CSN's Monte Poole. "And it completely pissed me off."

Russell's flee-the-scene act wasn't nearly as egregious as, say, Carmelo Anthony's hit-and-run from a few years back, but Green still considered it an act of cowardice.

"I was proud of D'Angelo for getting in there and sticking up for his teammate," Lakers coach Luke Walton said, according to ESPN's Jovan Buha.

Walton, though, wouldn't directly address Green's comments, saying he'll have a response if and when it's him Green comes after. That day may not be a long time coming.
