Nets' Trevor Booker: Out Friday, expected back Sunday

Booker (leg), who has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Celtics, is expected to be available Sunday against the Mavericks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

The Nets are holding Booker out of a second straight game Friday, but coach Kenny Atkinson indicated that the big man's injury isn't significant and the team is just being "super cautious." As such, it's likely that Booker will take back his usual role as the top backup to starting power forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson on Sunday, but those duties are set to fall to Quincy Acy and Justin Hamilton on Friday.
