Pacers' Jeff Teague: Falls short of triple-double Wednesday

Teague posted eight points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 11 assists and eight rebounds across 30 minutes in a 98-77 win over the Hornets on Wednesday.

Analysis:

Teague produced an odd stat-line Wednesday falling just two points and two rebounds shy of his first triple-double of the season. He has flirted with triple-doubles at least a half-dozen other times this year, but he's always fallen just short. In this case Teague was held back by the fact that the Indiana was handily destroying the Hornets, which earned him a little bit of rest to close out the Pacers' second game in as many nights. Teague struggled with his shot during both legs of the back-to-back-- he failed to reach double-figures scoring in either game and shot just 30.4 percent overall.
