Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari: Out Thursday with bone bruise in knee

Gallinari will miss Thursday's game against the Clippers due to a bone bruise in his left knee, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Gallinari suffered the injury during Monday's win over the Lakers, when he collided with an opponent, according to Nick Kosmider of The Denver Post. He wasn't forced to exit the contest and finished 18 points, five assists, three rebounds and one block in 29 minutes, but it appears he may have been playing through pain. Regardless, Gallinari's absence isn't good news for the Nuggets, who have once again been bitten by the injury bug. Along with Gallinari, Wilson Chandler (groin) and Darrell Arthur (rest) are both out for Thursday's game, while Kenneth Faried (back) is questionable. As a result, coach Michael Malone will have to get creative with his rotation, with Juancho Hernangomez and Will Barton likely in line to pick up most of Gallinari's minutes.
