Nuggets' Kenneth Faried: Practices Wednesday, questionable Thursday vs. Clippers

Faired (back) practiced Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Clippers, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.

Analysis:

It was Faried's first practice since he first succumbed to the lower-back pain, which has sidelined him for the last nine games. Coach Michael Malone said that the Nuggets would reassess Faried's status after morning shootaround Thursday before determining if the forward would play, but if Faried is deemed good to go, he could be in store for a sizable workload right away. The Nuggets have already ruled out Danilo Gallinari (knee), Wilson Chandler (groin) and Darrell Arthur (rest), leaving the team will limited options in the frontcourt beyond Faried, Juancho Hernangomez, Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee.
