Draymond's career-high 6 blocks keys comeback win over 76ers

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

After giving key players three days rest following a grueling eight-game stretch (seven on the road) in which they went 3-5, the Golden State Warriors would've looked silly losing at home to the Philadelphia 76ers.

They almost did just that Tuesday, however, but have the late heroics of Draymond Green and to a lesser extent Stephen Curry to thank for avoiding it. Green led the Warriors back from a 16-point third-quarter deficit by anchoring the defense, including these blocks:

Green finished with a line of 20 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, a career-high six blocks, and four steals - therefore coming up one steal shy of the elusive 5x5.

Curry managed to turn another cold start from behind the arc into a better rhythm late, hitting three of four 3-point attempts in the fourth quarter. He finished with a game-high 29 points - fitting for his 29th birthday.

With the win, the Warriors snapped a three-game losing streak and moved a half-game in front of the Spurs for first in the West.
