Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Hoping to return during upcoming road trip

Love (knee) took part in Tuesday's three-on-three scrimmage and is hoping to return at some point during the Cavaliers' upcoming four-game road trip, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

Love was also able to do some on-court shooting and agility drills early last week, so it appears he's progressing faster than expected in his recovery from February arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. He'll remain sidelined for both Tuesday's game against the Pistons and Thursday's matchup with the Jazz, before potentially being available for the start of the road trip Saturday against the Clippers. In order for a return during the road trip to materialize, Love will need to put in a full practice at some point later this week.
