Vince Carter went back in time once again Monday night, with his final stat line against the Milwaukee Bucks looking like something straight out of 2007.

The 40-year-old scored a season-high 24 points in a 113-93 Grizzlies win, going a perfect 8-of-8 from the floor, including 6-for-6 from deep.

That makes the 19-year veteran the first 40-plus player to make six 3-pointers in a game, per Elias and ESPN. He's also only the sixth NBA player over 40 to score more than 20 points in a contest. One of his treys included a halftime buzzer-beater.

Carter got his first start of the season against the Bucks, something he may see more of with Chandler Parsons possibly finished for the season with a torn meniscus.

As a result Carter played 30 minutes, his most since Feb. 4.

It would be a tall ask for Carter to play at this level down the stretch, but he's frequently been able to pull out throwback performances, specifically in terms of acrobatics.
