Knicks' Carmelo Anthony: Joins select club Sunday

Anthony scored a game-high 27 points (10-26 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT) while adding seven rebounds, three assists and a block in 37 minutes during Sunday's 120-112 loss to the Nets.

Analysis:

He passed 10,000 career points with the Knicks during the game, joining Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Elvin Hayes as the only players in NBA history to reach that mark with two different franchises. Sunday's performance was also the first time in March that Anthony has topped 20 points, offering some hope that his sore knee might be improving.
