No. 7 has become the 7th New York Knicks player to reach the 10,000-point plateau.

Carmelo Anthony hit the milestone after taking it to the hoop in a sea of black jerseys Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets.

The 32-year-old entered the game just five points shy of 10,000 with his hometown club. He previously scored 13,970 points with the Denver Nuggets, and is just the third player in NBA history to accomplish the feat with two separate franchises, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Elvin Hayes.
